Pain is a very subjective term, and everyone experiences pain in their own unique way. From being born with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis (JRA) to later contracting a deadly bone-eating bacteria which resulted in multiple surgeries and a hip replacement, I have had to manage pain my whole life. My history of orthopedic illness led me to seek out effective solutions for pain management and think out of the box of mainstream health and medicine in order for my body to function the way I needed it to.
During my 20 year career as a fascia and body mechanics expert, I’ve watched countless individuals from every walk of life—from housewives and grandmothers to pro athletes and royals with virtually every type of injury, condition, and health history—break the boundaries of what they thought was possible and morph into a better version of themselves. My goal has always been empowerment, and I want you to hold the tool to help YOU help yourself look, feel, and function at your best. It is my great honor to share with you the knowledge I’ve learned through my personal struggles and victories.
Pain is simply a “symptom” that aids our body in identifying an injury, illness, imbalance, or issue.
I am here to help you identify and address the root cause behind your pain so you can better understand what’s going on in your body and how to properly address the underlying issue.
In this article, I’m going to list some different symptoms and conditions that the FasciaBlaster® might improve, based on real customer reports and responses from our independent study subject. I will link to this information throughout the blog so you can go straight to the source to get your questions answered. My #1 National Bestselling book The Cellulite Myth: it’s not fat, it’s fascia ” elaborates on this topic and gives in-depth explanations on how and why fascia can cause pain and affect everyday function.
1. Pain Caused by Inflammation:
Some fascia-related pain complexes that are caused by chronic inflammation include, but are not limited to:
Although this list is by no means conclusive, the good news is that the FasciaBlaster® has shown in independent studies to REDUCE CHRONIC INFLAMMATION!
2. Pain Caused by Tight Fascia:
– Muscle soreness and pain (back, neck, rotator cuff, etc)
– Joint pain (knee, elbow, wrist, hip, etc)
– Carpal tunnel
– DISCS issues
– Plantar fasciitis
– Shin splints
– Cartilage damage
– Scar tissue
– Ligament and tendon stress
– Repetitive injuries
The FasciaBlaster® has also shown to smooth and restore fascia in ultrasound imaging from independent studies. Tight, adhered fascia can cause the skeleton and skeletal muscles to contort the body, causing pain in the muscles, tendons, ligaments, and tissues.
For more information, see the “7 Phases of Fascia Freak Out” chart.
3. Pain Caused by Postural Misalignments:
Tight, adhered fascia can also cause postural misalignments and imbalances, which can cause long-term pain, tension, and discomfort.
Here is a self-evaluation test to help you identify areas of fascia recoil that may be the root cause of your pain:
This is thoroughly discussed in my bestselling book “The Cellulite Myth: it’s not fat, it’s fascia.” Some postural related pain complexes include, but are not limited to:
– SI dysfunction
– Forward shoulders
– Tight hip flexors
– Dowager’s hump
– Sway backs
– Flat feet
– Spinal compression
4. Pain Caused by Nerve Compression and Blood Flow Restriction
The FasciaBlaster smoothes out and untangles the fascia freeing nerves and blood vessels. By simply allowing proper nerve activity and blood flow, you can have a profound effect on reducing pain. Some conditions affected by blood vessel and nerve compression include, but are not limited to:
– Peripheral neuropathy
– Tingling or numbness in fingers, hands, and feet
– Chronically cold hands and feet
– Muscle cramps
– Nerve pain
– Varicose veins
– MS pain
– Parkinson’s pain
– Migraines and tension headaches
